Why We Exist

Our Teachers

Sometimes life changes in ways we never expect.

For me, one of those moments came when my dad was diagnosed with a terminal illness. It was a time of uncertainty, grief and trying to hold everything together. During that period, I discovered mindfulness.

It didn’t change what was happening, but it changed how I was able to meet each day. It gave me moments to pause, to breathe and to find space, even when life felt anything but spacious.

That experience stayed with me. Over the years, the arts, creativity, mindfulness and community have all become important parts of my journey. For a long time, they felt like separate paths, but eventually I realised they were all leading to the same place.

Space Seekers grew from that realisation.

Today, everything we create begins with the same hope: that everyone deserves moments to pause, reconnect and discover a little more space.

That’s why Space Seekers exists.

Hello, I'm Julia.

Thank you for spending a little time here.

Whether through the arts, music, travel, mindfulness or community, I’ve always been drawn to experiences that bring people together, spark curiosity and help us feel a little more connected. Over time, those experiences became the foundations of Space Seekers.

I believe that even the smallest moments can make a difference: a conversation, a shared laugh, a quiet pause, or simply a space that invites us to breathe a little more deeply. That’s what continues to inspire everything I create through Space Seekers.

I’ve been fortunate to learn from many people and experiences along the way, all of which have helped shape my work. My journey has included a BA in Performing Arts, a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training qualification, the Breathworks Mindfulness for Stress course, ongoing Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher training, Paws b Mindfulness teacher training for children aged seven to eleven, and many years of designing and delivering arts and youth theatre programmes.

Like everything at Space Seekers, I’m always learning and evolving. If something here has resonated with you, I’d love to continue the conversation.

The kettle is always on.
